What's On At The Duke
Ideally situated close to the city centre on historic Duke street, The Duke is one of Dublin’s oldest and finest pubs. And a great place to visit every day of the week. The Duke is also the starting point for The Dublin Literary Pub Crawl, “the most ingenious crash course in Irish literature, history, architecture and pub bonhomie yet devised”. And Wednesdays is Comedy Improv Night. Food served everyday from noon. All live sports shown on our big screen and tv’s. Heated smoking terrace.
Dublin Literary Pub Crawl
We are the starting point for the world famous Dublin Literary Pub Crawl which recently ranked No.4 in the Sunday Times Worlds 50 Best Walks.
The Dublin Literary Pub Crawl happens every evening at 7.30pm in the summer months (Apr – Oct) and from Thursdays to Sundays in the winter (Nov – Mar).
There are also private tours all year round.

“This is the most ingenious crash course in Irish literature, history, architecture and pub bonhomie yet devised… It combines street theatre with the ‘craic’ that makes Dublin pubs the liveliest in Europe and successfully avoids the clichés that would otherwise ruin an evening of high art and low life.”
